Veronica Jaeger Art

My work explores whimsical scenarios and characters as a particular interpretation of the human condition in a metaphorical way. Each piece invites to question reality and the pursuit of a deeper meaning through colorful aesthetics blending with surreal storytelling.

At the heart of my work is Sophia, the sacred feminine principle, represented usually as a girl who embodies wisdom and the interconnectedness between human and nature. On these painterly journeys she, and her companion pets and toys, add a touch of the everyday, grounding the stories I tell.

Inspired by the vibrant dreamscapes of the subconscious, I use bubbles as recurring symbols of the ephemeral and the unknown-the fragile boundaries between what is seen and what is yet to be discovered. These delicate forms, floating through open landscapes, evoke a sense of wonder, curiosity and transformation.

I aim to create art that encourages a connection to the inner child, a spirit of exploration, introspection, and the resilience to embrace life’s mysteries, to urge us to dream and to play in the boundless panoramas of imagination.
